Senior Manager of Estimating | Innovative Life Sciences Construction Company | RETAINED

DESCRIPTION:

This retained search is being conducted on behalf of our innovative client who is a modular provider of cleanrooms, clean spaces, and cold storage solutions.

A Senior Manager of Estimating Cleanrooms, in the context of construction or manufacturing, is responsible for leading a team of estimators, managing the cost estimation process for cleanroom projects, and ensuring accurate and timely project budgets.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading and Managing a Team:

  • Oversee, mentor, and guide a team of estimators, ensuring they have the resources and training to perform their duties effectively.

Collaborating with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure alignment on project scope and budget.

Analyzing and Evaluating Project Scope:

  • Assess the complexity and requirements of cleanroom projects to develop realistic and accurate cost estimates.

Developing and Implementing Estimating Processes:

  • Drive the development and implementation of efficient and effective estimating processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Managing Risks and Challenges:

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that could impact project costs and timelines.

Providing Expertise and Guidance:

  • Offer expertise and guidance to the team on cost estimation techniques, industry standards, and best practices.

Ensuring Accuracy and Timeliness:

  • Ensure that cost estimates are accurate, complete, and delivered on time to support project planning and decision-making.

Reviewing and Approving Estimates:

  • Review and approve cost estimates prepared by the team, ensuring they meet quality standards and company requirements.

Staying Current with Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and cost-saving strategies to ensure that the company remains competitive.
