Thanks in part to the pandemic, a newer company measuring stick for fund investors and younger employees is the ESG accountability. This includes the environment, social, and governance categories.

According to Morningstar research, in the US U.S. last year, more than $51 billion in new investor money went into ESG funds. This more than doubled the amount invested in 2019.
