Top 10 most productive biopharma companies

Fierce pharma has released its list of the top 10 most productive biopharma companies. This list was compiled by dividing companies’ 2021 revenues by their total employee numbers as reported in their annual reports or securities filings. To ensure sufficient scale, they only counted drugmakers with at least $10 billion in 2021 revenues and $10 billion in market cap as of August 2022.

The top 5 are:

1. BioNTech

2. Moderna

3. Gilead Sciences

4. Regeneron

5. Bristol Myers Squibb
