High Blood Pressure Medication Recall

After a recent failed FDA lab test, Sun Pharma has issued a recall for its generic for high blood pressure.

The pills were made in its Halol manufacturing plant in Gujarat, India. The pills were distributed nationwide within the US.

The recall was started on Jan. 13, but the FDA upped the classification to a Class 2 recall in February. Class 2 recalls cover situations that “may cause” temporary health consequences or a remote chance of serious health outcomes.
