Research the company before the phone screen and especially before an on-site interview. The recruiter you are working with should be able to share insights into the company, the culture, why the position is open, how this position fits into the team/organization, the manager's style and expectations for the role.
It is your responsibility to learn as much as you can about the company. One should always have a few questions to ask of the interviewer. This shows that you have done your homework and have a true interest in the company and this position.
Be able to provide concise examples that will highlight your experiences as they relate to the role you are interviewing for. Have a trusted family member or colleague ask you interview questions based on skills/experiences from your CV. Practicing answers to behaviorally based questions is important as well.
Practice, practice, practice the answers so that on the interview day you are prepared and comfortable with your answers.
