Bristol Myers Squibb has two cell therapies that have been approved with three more in its pipeline. With this, the company has increased its manufacturing capabilities in the US with a third facility receiving FDA approval in Deven, Massachusetts. This 244,000 square foot facility has been under construction since 2021 and will add 500 new cell therapy jobs.

Bristol-Myers Squibb has announced that Giovanni Caforio, its CEO since May 2015, will step down on November 1st. He will continue to lead BMS’ board as executive chairman for a transitional period.
